As an Atlantan, I take special pride in this show.

Interestingly, the Dead played four different venues in Atlanta. Did I overlook any?

- Piedmont Park (free outdoor show)
- Atlanta Municipal Auditorium (defunct, now part of Georgia State Univ.)
- Fox Theater (beautiful, small theater)
- Omni (huge arena torn down 10 years ago to make room for another huge arena...)

I believe you got them all, D-ATL.
I saw my first show in the Omni. I remember all these suits mingled with all these heads on the sidewalks. Shakedown street was wherever you could find an open patch of ground.

Still mullng over July 31st; I think it might be the last show of the tour.

Hey Judge -

Looks like we missed one:

I'm a native Atlantan and I've never heard of the Atlanta Sports Arena.

The review and comments are fascinating.

Tell me you are NOT this far behind on your emails?

I've never heard of this show either. I've been mulling making an actual contribution to this List for a while now. I think I know what I want to do; I'll contact you OFFLIST this weekend with my thoughts.
